Education & License: 

Mia has her Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and Linguistics from the University of Arizona and her Master's Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University (but the decorations for her graduation party were blue and red, much to her cohort’s confusion).  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Treatment Approach: 

Mia takes a multi-modal approach that at its core is trauma-informed and person-centered. She believes that the greatest honor of this work is being a witness to someone’s story. Primary modalities include person-centered, trauma-informed, CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and polyvagal theory.
