Jan is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician with over 20 years of experience working in in private practice, inpatient, outpatient, and community behavioral health settings. 

Degree & License

Jan earned her M.A. in Speech and Language Pathology as well as her M.Ed. in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Arizona. 

Role at CAPS

Jan is the coordinator of eating disorder services at CAPS. She offers counseling and triage services, facilitates the Campus Eating Disorder Awareness and Recovery Group (CEDAR) at CAPS and co-chairs the Eating Assessment and Treatment Team.

Clinical Interests & Specialties

Jan's clinical interests and specialty areas include disordered eating and eating disorders, body image issues, anxiety, depression, trauma issues, and relationship concerns.

Treatment Approach

Jan is trained in EMDR, trauma therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EFT, and multiple stress reduction techniques.
