Professional Interests:
Minnie has worked with all ages and diverse populations in various clinical settings to address personal difficulties, anxiety, depression, sexual violence, immigration issues, and major life transitions. Her interests include identity development, interpersonal concerns, multicultural issues, trauma, mind-body therapies, social justice, first-generation college students, and program development. She is a registered yoga teacher who incorporates mind-body therapies to reduce stress.
Treatment Approach:
She has clinical training experiences in trauma, crisis intervention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and multiculturalism/diversity. She provides individual and group therapy working from an integrative theoretical orientation that is collaborative and strengths-based to the client/therapist relationship.
Personal interests:
Hiking, walking, yoga, travel, reading, cooking, spending time with friends and family. Her new goal is to learn how to surf on a warm beach in Mexico.
