Four Dynamic WellCat Teams
With each having a different focus area, students can promote community and wellness in a variety of ways. All incoming WellCats begin on the Outreach Team where they learn the basics of Campus Health, WellCats, and all things health & wellness. After their first semester, there are opportunities to move to another team and expand their skills!
Outreach
Serves as the ultimate Campus Health ambassadors. They share wellness resources, highlight upcoming events, and help students learn about and get connected to health and wellbeing resources available to them.
Events & Programming
Creates, plans, and hosts free weekly wellness events across campus. From game nights and crafts to yoga and skill-sharing, they create fun ways for students to relax, connect, and try something new.
Media & Marketing
Spread the word about WellCats through social media and newsletters. They create content for @uazchssboard, contribute to newsletters, and promote the many ways students can get involved in wellness on campus.
Peer Education
Provide health education directly to their fellow students. They focus on topics like sexual health and alcohol and other drugs, sharing accurate information and creating engaging opportunities for students to learn and ask questions.
