When should I get a pap test?

Pap tests start at age 21 but STI testing is recommended annually for sexually active young people.

I need to get a birth control prescription, how can I do that?

We can only prescribe birth control to patients who have met with a Campus Health provider. If you need to make an appointment with one of our providers, call (520) 621-9202. Generally, prescriptions are good for one year and will be refilled again at your next annual appointment.

Where can I get Emergency Contraception?

Generic Plan B is available over the counter and should be taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.

Ella is a prescription emergency contraceptive pill that can be effective for up to 5 days post intercourse. An appointment with a provider is required for this prescription. Call (520) 621-9202 for an appointment.

I think I may be pregnant. What should I do?

If you have had sex and your period is late, taking a pregnancy test is a good idea. If your test is positive, we recommend making an appointment with us, Planned Parenthood, a private physician, or a county health clinic for testing and guidance. Here at Campus Health, we offer diagnostic services, referrals, and limited counseling.

What do I do if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

For procedures (biopsies, colposcopies, LEEP, etc.), please call (520) 621-9202 at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a no-show fee.

For general office visits, please call at least 1 hour in advance for office visits to avoid a no-show fee.
