Professional Experience/Role
Ryley brings over seven years of experience in higher education to her work leading student-centered health education and outreach focused on alcohol and substance use, mental health, relationships, and overall health and wellness. She designs and delivers engaging programs, events, presentations, and student engagement opportunities that strengthen well-being and foster peer connection across campus.
Ryley co-advises multiple Campus Health student groups, including CHSS Board, SHAC, and WellCats, and serves as a preceptor for Senior Public Health Interns. She also oversees the Health Promotion Hideaway, creating welcoming spaces for connection, fun, and support.
Ryley’s expertise includes mental health, suicide prevention, and substance use prevention, with a strong emphasis on harm reduction and healthy coping strategies. Through outreach, workshops, and individualized support, she helps students reduce risk, build resilience, and develop lifelong skills.
