Senior Health Educator

Carrie is a Senior Health Educator for Health Promotion. She specializes in developing engaging and comprehensive health and wellness education and communication to empower individuals to engage in health-promoting behaviors through in-person, print, and digital forums.  She develops health and wellness media, presents on a variety of different health topics (sexual health, sleep, stress, mental health, general health and wellness), and implements health promotion/harm reduction programs and events to address the health education needs of the UA campus community. She coordinates departmental and health communication efforts which encompass the content development and management of social media, websites, overall digital strategy, program development, marketing, brand management, and assists in assessment and evaluation. She earned her BS in Health Education from The University of Arizona and her MEd in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
