The mission of Campus Health's annual SexTalk Week is to encourage healthy choices, promote sexual responsibility and healthy relationships, and to provide accurate and comprehensive sexual health information to U of A students.


Monday, February 10th

4-5pm Gender Third Space Drop-In Support Group

This is an open group for embodying, exploring, questioning, and curiosity about your gender identity and expression. Connect with others, build community, co-create peer support, share stories, discuss experiences, and share resources.  

 

 

 

Tuesday, February 11th

4-5pm Do I have to Love Myself First? Dating, Relationships and Body Image

It is common for people to struggle with self-love, acceptance and self-esteem while navigating dating and relationships. Even more so for those with body image concerns, the complexities of dating, relationships and intimacy can feel overwhelming. We will explore body image in the context of romantic relationships and provide strategies to improve the connection with self and others. 

Bio: Ashley Moser LMFT, CEDS is a Clinical Education Specialist at The Renfrew Centers.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University.  Ms Moser has extensive experience in providing therapy and clinical supervision with a focus in the treatment of eating disorders and relationships.  She is a frequent speaker on the topics of body image, evidence-based treatment of eating disorders and engaging families and partners in the treatment process.

Free STD/STI testing, condoms, and sexual health information and resources from both campus and community groups.

4-5pm Connecting with Pride LGBTQIA2S+ Drop-In Support Group
Student Union, room 412

This open group connects LGBTQIA+2S students to each other to discuss topics related to identity and sexuality, build community, co-create peer support, and share resources.  

Thursday, February 13th

9:30am-12pm Survivor Love Letters
Student Union, 4th Floor 
Join Survivor Support and write "love letters" to other survivor, leave a note at the table or take one if you want/need it.  

Friday, February 14th

12 - 2pm Free Condom Friday
Campus Health (outside)

Get your free condoms (internal & external), lube, and more!

2-3pm Demystifying Sexual Health: A Panel with Community Experts
Hosted by the WGRC
