Words of Wisdom from CAPS

We asked our CAPS providers to share their favorite words of wisdom. Here's what they said:

You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called Life.  Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons.  Each lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it.  Once you have learned it, new lessons will be presented.  Experiment, and remember that "failed" experiments are as much as part of learning as those that work.
- paraphrased from "Rules for Being Human," Cherie Carter-Scott

Find your own inner voice, learn to listen to it and follow it.  (Even if it leads you on a different path than the voices around you are  directing you to go.)

I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you are not in this world to live up to mine

You are you, and I am I
And if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.
if not, it can't be helped.
