Mike Strangstalien is a Licensed Professional Counselor at CAPS and also has a private practice. His original training was in Molecular Biology and while working at the National Security Agency, he began training in Marital and Family Therapy and Family Psychology at Georgetown, concluding his studies at Chapman University. He has also been an instructor, field practice supervisor and brings some 50,000 plus hours of clinical background to CAPS. He is a member of the American Association of Marital and Family Therapy, the American Counseling Association, the American College Counseling Association and the American Psychological Association. He is credentialed at the state and national levels. Mike is committed to helping students engineer success into their lives.
