Mia Zamora, LCSW

Clinician, Mental Health

Mia provides counseling and triage services at CAPS. She has her Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and Linguistics from the University of Arizona and her Master's Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University (but the decorations for her graduation party were blue and red, much to her cohort’s confusion).  She has had the opportunity to explore many areas of the helping field including outpatient child and family therapy, intensive in-home therapy, supervision, and program development.  She takes a multi-modal approach that at its core is trauma informed and person centered and believes that the greatest honor of this work is being a witness to someone’s story.
