Maureen Oskandy, MD


Dr. Oskandy got her B.A. in Biology and Anthropology from North Central College in Naperville, IL in 1979. She received her M.D. from Loyola-Stritch Medical School in Chicago in 1982. She did her residency in Family Practice at the UA from 1982-85. She was Chief Resident in 1985. She is board-certified in Family Practice. She has worked for Indian Health Service and has a special interest in Native American culture and health. She had a full-spectrum family practice for 8 years at Thomas-Davis Clinic. She speaks Spanish. She enjoys teaching and has taught medical students for 25 years. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 sons.
