About Leslie Ralph
Dr. Leslie Ralph joined the CAPS team as a staff psychologist in September, 2011. Prior to working in college counseling, Leslie worked in outpatient counseling centers and medical clinics providing individual, couples, family, and group treatment.
Degree & License
Leslie is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Arizona. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN., and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Texas Tech University.
Role at CAPS
Leslie provides individual and couple's counseling at CAPS. She is the facilitator of the Staying on Track Group, Happy Sessions Workshop & Conversation Series, Perform Under Pressure Workshop, and Feeling Good in Grad School Workshop. She's a member of the eating disorder treatment team and the CAPS research and program evaluation team.
Clinical Interests & Specialties
Leslie specializes in the treatment of anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, body image and eating disorders, adjustment, and phase of life problems.
Leslie approaches treatment from a foundation in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and narrative therapy. Her work is also informed by positive psychology, mindfulness, and self-compassion.
