About Krishna Bright

Krishna is a Mental Health Clinician who supervises Triage and provides counseling services at CAPS. After hours, Krishna enjoys creative projects including photography, painting and collaborating with performance artists. Her recent passion is taking her son traveling to different parts of the country, discovering new places together. Outside of CAPS, Krishna has studied astrology for 30 years and practiced the art of astrological counseling for 15 years in her private practice. She is practicing the art of evolutionary astrology through collaboration with other astrologers.

Degree & License

Krishna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies at the University of Arizona, and a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychology and Expressive Arts Therapy at Prescott College. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arizona.

Krishna is the supervisor of Triage and provides individual counseling.

Clinical Interests & Specialties

Krishna's clinical experience has involved treating dual diagnosis (mental health and substance abuse), depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, grief/loss, spirituality, feminism, relationship issues, pregnancy/post-partum depression/anxiety, miscarriage, and women's issues.

Treatment Approach

Krishna uses cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic development, mindfulness, behavior modification and psychoeducation in counseling sessions.
