Dr. Matchett-Morris is a Staff Psychologist and the Associate Director of CAPS. His time is split between direct clinical service to students, administrative responsibilities and clinical supervision. He earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Arizona and an M.A. in Counseling and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oregon. He is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Arizona. He has worked in a variety of mental health settings, including universities, inpatient mental health units, outpatient behavioral health clinics, the U.S. Army, prisons, and Pima County Superior Court. His clinical work focuses on adjustment, depression, anxiety, grief, stress management, anger management, crisis, couples and relationship issues, sexuality issues, and work with LGBTQ students.
