Befrienders is an international network of over 350 crisis helplines active in 35 countries on 5 continents. Members and volunteers around the world provide confidential support to people in emotional crisis or distress, or those close to them. Webpages are available in 22 languages. Not all countries are represented, but many are members of Befriends.
Befrienders support to young LGBTQ people who live in parts of the world where they don’t have equal rights or face discrimination.
