August 27, 2019

For the fifth year in a row, The Princeton Review named The University of Arizona Campus Heath Service in the top 3% for Best Health Services in the nation, out of 386 colleges and universities.

The rankings are based on data collected from 140,000 students across the 386 institutions on an 80 question survey.

"The UA Campus Health Service has long been one of the leaders in college health, and our consistently high rankings from the Princeton Review only underscores that.  Our staff is not only highly trained but also dedicated and compassionate - qualities which our students know makes a difference in the quality of care they receive here," said David Salafsky, Interim Co-Executive Director of the UA Campus Health Service.

The health service boasts over 70,000 visits a year and a wide range of services including medical and walk-in clinics, counseling and psych services, health promotion, women's health, pharmacy, travel & immunization services, physical therapy, a clinical lab, nutrition, and more.

Results from the Campus Health's own annual Patient Satisfaction Survey conducted in 2019 reveal that 99% of UA students who use the health service would recommend it to a friend.

UA Campus Health was the nation's first fully accredited college health center in 1978, and has been continuously re-accredited since by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

In 2018, the department marked its 100 year anniversary at The University of Arizona.
